The body keeps the pattern. We change it.
Human Body Mechanic isn't massage, chiropractic, or physical therapy. It's a structural re-alignment method that works with your nervous system — finding the root cause of pain instead of chasing the symptom.
A different lens on the human body.
After years watching people cycle through treatments that only ever managed their symptoms, John built a practice around a single question: not where does it hurt, but why is the body protecting that spot in the first place?
Using applied kinesiology — muscle-testing the body's own feedback — he maps the compensation patterns hiding beneath the pain, then guides the nervous system to release them. The result is relief that holds, because the cause, not the symptom, is what changed.
"Your body is doing exactly what it needs to do in order to survive. The work is simply showing it that it's safe to stop."
Every motor pattern runs on voltage.
When a region of the body loses voltage — after an injury, a fall, surgery, or an old trauma — it borrows what it needs from elsewhere. That borrowing is a muscle compensation. Over time the loop becomes the body's inherent program, and the original area never fully comes back online.
- 1Locate the compensation patterns and the voltage they're borrowing.
- 2Switch them off so the body no longer needs to borrow as it did after the original shock.
- 3Restore the motor pattern to normal, with gentle homework so the old loop can't return.
Your nervous system can be reprogrammed back to its pre-injury condition — and beyond.
What a session actually looks like.
Gentle, hands-on, and fully clothed. No cracking, no force — just the body's own feedback guiding the corrections.
1 · Assess
Muscle-testing reveals which patterns are compensating and where the missing voltage is being borrowed from.
2 · Correct
Gentle hands-on corrections release the compensation loop and let the original motor pattern come back online.
3 · Integrate
You leave with simple homework movements that keep the old patterns from ever creeping back.
When nothing else has held.
- Chronic or recurring pain that keeps coming back
- Old injuries that never fully resolved
- Postural and movement-pattern compensations
- Pain that scans and specialists can't explain
- Tension tied to stored stress or past trauma
Sometimes the body lets go of more than tension.
Because these patterns often form around a moment of shock or trauma, releasing them can surface the original emotion stored alongside it — sometimes reaching as far back as early childhood.
Clients frequently describe an emotional release as the pattern frees from the body. It's a natural part of the process, held with care and never forced.
